Steps

1. Complete Client Information Statement
   • Cash or Margin Account Application Form (Individual / Joint / Sole Proprietorship / Partnership)
   • Futures Account Application Form (Individual / Joint / Sole Proprietorship / Partnership)

2. Submit the completed form with copies of the required documents
3. Mail all documents to UOB Kay Hian(Hong Kong) Ltd

Required Documents

1. Copy of personal identification document
   • Hong Kong permanent I.D. Card / I.D. / Passport
   • Valid Official Identity Document (with biodata page containing the bearer's photograph and biographical details)
2. Proof of residential address dated within 3 months, e.g. electricity bill, bank statement, etc.
3. Proof of bank account, e.g. bank statement or bank book
4. Complete W-8BEN Form (For the application of US trading account)

According to SFC, you are required to mail a personal crossed cheque of not less than HK$10,000 for verification purpose.

The cheque will be deposited into your account. You may use it to start trading or withdraw at any time.

• Payable to "UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Limited"
• Pre-print your name as shown in your HKID/ Passport
• Drawn on your Hong Kong Licensed Bank account
• Bear identical signature as shown on the Account Opening Form

Eligibility

• At least 18 years of age
• Opening an individual and joint account
• A non-US resident or citizen
• Not authorized to trade for others
• Not acting as an intermediary for the account
